Sales Position
We are
looking for a sales person - ideally a young self starter who is computer
literate and has a driver's licence plus a vehicle. They would be employed
to sell software solutions including QuickBooks, eScan and Maximizer CRM.
Initially, they would focus on contacting prospects for appointments and Judith
would assist with the presentations and do the quotes. Longer term, we
expect them to grow into successful sales professionals and do their own
presentations and deals. Part of the package would include their first
year's membership of UPSA SA and support in doing the exams of this professional
society. On the job training is also provided. A Wealth Profile
would also form part of their access to growth

Trainee Programmer or Junior Programmer
Do you get on well with computers, and sometimes with people?
Do you have an MCSD or a Technikon qualification, Matric higher
grade Maths with a good-to-excellent pass, and good knowledge of
Microsoft Access, Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Basic 2005, and Microsoft
SQL Server 2005? If so, we may well have a position for you.
We offer a varied and challenging work environment with the

basic salary, travel allowance and medical aid after a three-month
trial period.
Candidates have to go through a screening process that requires
getting high marks in a test of Microsoft Access, Visual Basic 6.0
and 2005, and SQL skills, followed (if successful) by a personal
interview. We look for people of integrity and determination,
who are clear about their goals.
We employ on merit, although we recognise that employees from
disadvantaged backgrounds may need extra coaching and have
occasional transport problems.

This position is offered as a learnership and higher grade Maths is
required with a good pass. If you are currently studying for an MCSD
or a Technikon qualification, marks from these studies will also
count in your favour.
Programming Languages currently in use at Software Africa include
Microsoft Access, Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Basic 2005, and SQL for
Microsoft SQL Server 2005. We are a registered ISV with Microsoft
engaged in developing various applications for certification by
them.
We offer a learnership of three months up to one year to the right
candidate together with remuneration that includes a minimal basic
salary and a travel allowance.
