These are the beautiful matriarchs and their babies in the Pilanesberg. They made our last day there a complete delight - right up close and relaxed. We saw so many animals with their young there, and returned relaxed. They were a very special three days away. We have clarification on the move from Maintenance subscriptions to Annual subscriptions. If you move on the promotions to Annual subscription, that subscription will stay at the same price for at least three years. Whereas, the maintenance subscriptions will increase by 20% next February. Promotions and other special offers will continue for this year. I suspect they will continue through Financial 2019 as well.
In addition, do not think that buying Inventor Pro and AutoCAD, for example, will cost you less than buying a Design Collection. The wealth of software in the Design Collection at around R36 000 inc VAT (at the current exchange rate) way undercuts buying any two standalone packages.

Slack gives you one place to contact your people, share information, and find useful tools. It runs in an internet browser or freestanding app on your PC, laptop, tablet or Smartphone. When your distributed team needs to kick off a project, hire a new employee, deploy some code, review a sales contract, finalise next year's budget, measure an A/B test, plan your next office opening, and more, Slack can be invaluable. We are looking at what is new in Excel 2016 for Windows Desktop, compared with Excel 2010. As we saw in Excel Tip #158, on the Insert ribbon, in the Charts group, the new button for the new Statistical charts produces Histogram charts (and Box and Whisker type charts).
A histogram chart shows the frequencies within a distribution. There are two sub-types: Plain Histogram and Pareto chart: We now look at the second one. As with the Plain Histogram , this will create a bar graph. Each bar shows a count of the number of values that fall within a range, called a "bin".
In the picture alongside, we have taken the Plain Histogram we produced last month and turned it into a Pareto Chart. The difference here is that (a) the bars ("bins") are sorted into descending order by size, and (b) a red line is added giving the cumulative percentage of the total at each position. A second axis on the right gives the percentages on the red line.
The bars are therefore not in their natural order, but pull out what might be the most important ones by having the biggest on the left.
Next year we will look at the Box and Whisker Statistical chart.
