Winter is truly here, with minus 2 Celsius overnight, a biting wind, and snow in Johannesburg this morning. It's not waist-deep yet, but who knows? People have been torching trucks to stay warm – when will they start burning the Cabinet? It's made of wood, after all –deadwood in most cases (pardon the dark alleged humour).
Today is exactly a year since the death of Judith Taylor, founder and former partner in Software Africa. She leaves a huge gap.
Well, on to brighter things...

I accidentally let Mozilla Firefox set itself as my default browser. Or was it Microsoft Edge? Anyway, I reclaimed Google Chrome as the default. But then I found that clicking on an email address hyperlink no longer created an email in Outlook. Even HotPlot no longer created a licence email. Fortunately, this site solved the problem. Here's how:
Set the default program by going to Control Panel > Default Programs > Set your default programs:
Under "Email" (the top option), click on the program (mine was Google Chrome) and instead select Outlook. Voila!
